Seeing Double

Ah, another great Jumper shot! Probably my favorite little macro-critter, this is a really great capture.

Vision: I like how this shot turned out. It really makes the spider pop, and brings out so much detail. I love how you captured the greenish opalescence of the spiders eyes.

Originality: Jumping spiders are a pretty common macro photo subject, yet this one still has some originality for the unique setting.

Technique: Great technique. Aside from a little bit of the cloth that is in clear focus, depth of field is nicely focused on the spider. Detail is superb!

Impact: The spider really pops in this shot, and is amazingly clear. The center eyes are almost eerily dominating in this scene. Good impact!

I really love jumping spiders, however most shots are pretty run of the mill, spider on a leaf kind of shots. This one is quite unique as far as jumping spider photos go. Very well done.
